I have in an endeavor to educate marketeers about good and bad advertising,
decided to create this Wall Of Shame, where those operators of dud safelist
Blasters are exposed....
When I say dud I mean those business's that advertise that they send
your message to MILLIONS etc, etc, etc hype and more hype....
Today the 13th August 2005 I finished testing some of these BIG BLASTERS
that make Incredible claims about sending to Millions, and have not been
disappointed...
In fact your emails are sent to millions of electrons within the server
and NEVER LEAVE the actual Server.... some-one is blatantly
lying and are guilty of False And Misleading Advertising and I think it's
about time the Federal Police started Investigating these sites that make
claims as outrageous as we have all seen....
So here is my results after 5 days of posting my favourite Classifieds
Advert that works with Standard Email Sending Safelists and using my click
tracker to record any hits...
This may upset some of you and if you want proof of the stats that appear
here, then simply do as I have done, use a url tracker and you really will
be upset, especially if you Paid for these so called Blasters.....

13th August 2005
Also I have not included the full urls deliberately as most of these
are a paid service...
Also the people who are hiring these are possibly not aware that they
have paid to operate a Non Email Sending Blaster...
There are many more Blasters that are hosted by these Business URL's
below so I have no doubt that by the list below, that NONE Of These
Sites operate Real Email Sending Blasters.....

If you know of other Blasters that are Duds, well you can let me know
and I will test them if I can and if you are correct then I will add them
here to hopefully save other Marketeers from wasting their money....
So what's the lesson here???
Simply use some common sense, It costs Real Money to operate a Real
Email Sending Safelist or Blaster as some call them. The Bandwidth does
get expensive which is why you see safelist hosting for 1,000 members costs
around $14.00 per month.....
So working on that ratio, it would cost $14,000 per month to send to
1,000,000 members or emails sent per month....
Now that they would need a lot of members joining and paying every month
to cover that and make a profit...
Of course these are imaginary figures and are only for reference for
people to get an idea of the costs... versus what you pay to use the system.
So if you see a site like above blurting out that they send to hundreds
of thousands ore even millions daily, well I won't say any-thing, but just
use your common sense and do some simple maths to the costs of sending
one million emails....
These Blasters have been run simply to Fleece Money from unsuspecting
people and will only last a short time then disappear and start again under
a new name and site url to repeat that cycle...
Also there are some legitimate Millions Blasters on the net, run by
stable well established and respected owners, and these state that blasting
to millions is over a period of time.... as it may take a one posting a
day for a month to send that many adverts....
Any-way, I hope that this has enlightened you about these sites above
and any other run from these website address's shown above....
